How we handle your data

Vonic is a pre-launch product for independent UK gyms. This page explains what information we collect when you join the waitlist or take the quiz, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. We've kept it short and in plain English on purpose.

Who we are

Vonic is an independent, UK-based project at the pre-launch stage. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact developer@vonic.co.

What we collect

Depending on which form you use, we collect:

Waitlist form: your email address.
Quiz: your answers about how your gym currently runs (software used, entry method, staffing tools, time spent on staffing, and whether the price point works for you), plus your gym's name and your email address at the end.

We don't collect payment details, and we don't use analytics or advertising trackers on this site, so we don't collect browsing behaviour beyond what's needed to receive your form submission.

Why we collect it

We collect this to validate whether Vonic is worth building, to understand how gyms like yours actually operate, and to follow up with you if it looks like a fit. The legal basis for this is your consent — submitting a form is you telling us it's okay to hold and use that information for these purposes.

How we store it

Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, the platform that hosts this site, acting as our data processor. We don't copy your data into any other third-party tool, and we don't sell or share it with advertisers.

How long we keep it

We keep submissions until we've made a decision on whether to build and launch Vonic, or for 24 months, whichever comes first — unless you ask us to delete it sooner, in which case we will.

Cookies

This site doesn't use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. Any cookies set are the minimum required for the site and its forms to function, nothing more.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you can ask us to:

tell you what data we hold about you,
correct anything that's wrong,
delete your data entirely, or
stop using it for any further contact.

Email developer@vonic.co and we'll action it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you think we've mishandled your data.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
